This is the story of a hillside and three cousins. Back in 1942, grandfather Aldo inherited from his father Abele a steep hillside planted with vines and a small "house" with a stunning view over the hills. The vineyard sits high up on steep, sun-drenched slopes kissed by the breeze. Up here, everything is as charming as it is demanding: the lie of the land means it all has to be done the old way, by hand. Yet the land asks a lot only to give back in kind. Grapes grown on such rugged ground come out richer, with more sugar and a deeper savoury edge.
Today that story is carried on by Diana, Giulia and Marco, who turned an inheritance into a passion and became the keepers of these century-old vines. They're also adding to that legacy, protecting the land through sustainable practices and renewable energy.
